Gold Coins can appear in the bottom-right corner of any symbol on the reels if there are Serpent Wild upgrades left to unlock. When a Gold Coin lands on the same spin as a Serpent Wild, it is collected and added to the Serpent Wild progress bar. Collect 30 Gold Coins to unlock the first upgrade, 60 Gold Coins to unlock the second upgrade, and 90 Gold Coins to unlock the third and final upgrade. The Serpent Wild progress bar is displayed on the right side of the reels until all 3 Serpent Wild upgrades are unlocked. It tracks the total number of collected Gold Coins needed to activate each upgrade. Once all 3 upgrades are unlocked, the progress bar transforms into a 6th reel. This reel does not contain any card suit symbols.

The Serpent Wild substitutes for all paying symbols. As Gold Coins are added to the Serpent Wild progress bar, up to three upgrades can be unlocked: 1. Super Wild: The Serpent Wild becomes a 1x4 super symbol. 2. Super Multiplier Wild: A random multiplier (x2, x3, or x5) is applied to the Serpent Wild. 3. Locked Super Increasing Multiplier Wild: The Serpent Wild becomes a Locked Wild. It stays on the reels until it participates in at least 1 win, followed by a non-winning spin. For each consecutive win it participates in, the win multiplier increases by +1. The Serpent Wild unlocks after the first non-winning spin following at least 1 winning spin. If the Locked Wild is on reel 5 and has not yet participated in a win, it may randomly move to 1 of the first 4 reels.

There is a chance for the Serpent Wild’s multiplier to be stored in the Multiplier Stone above the reels. This stored multiplier is added to the next Serpent Wild that lands.

When the Serpent Wild lands on the reels but no win occurs, it may mark 1 symbol type on the reels. All symbols of the selected type will be locked on the reels, and a respin will be triggered. Respins continue as long as new symbols of the chosen type land. Only win lines consisting of the selected symbol type are awarded at the end of the feature.
